A 19th century gold and enamel box bearing Paris prestige marks, possibly Swiss or Hanau Rectangular with canted corners, the lid with paillons script 'SOUVENIR D'AMITIE' on blue enamel ground, bordered with enamelled leaves and enamelled 'pearls', the sides with blue enamelling with paillons border, interspersed with urn pilasters flanked by columns, the underside with blue enamel and urn and scrolling paillons, length 9.3cm, weight gross 127.5gms.
