A LARGE CAST-IRON HEAD OF VAIROCANA
Yuan/early Ming Dynasty
Well cast, with a meditative expression, with half-open downcast eyes below high arched brows, the small nose over small pursed lips, flanked by large earlobes, hair neatly parted and arranged in fine stands, wearing an elaborate five-pointed crown centering on an image of the seated Buddha, stand.
