258. A Meissen figure of a triangle-player from the "Cris de Paris", circa 1765
Modelled by Peter Reinicke, wearing a red-striped headscarf, green top, striped apron, and blue-striped, pale-yellow dress, the base moulded with gilt-edged scrollwok and applied with leaves and a flower, 14cm high, faint crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear edge of base, impressed 6 (some restoration)
