A suite of six Louis XVI grey-painted armchairs, late 18th century Each with rectangular back carved with rope and beaded tip-leaf motif, with detached fluted supports headed by palm finials, the scrolling acanthus-wrapped armrests above a bow-fronted seatrail conformingly carved and on turned tapering channelled legs, upholstered in floral trellis patterned 'vieux rose' silk, 63cm wide, 54cm deep, 96.5cm high (24 1/2in wide, 21in deep, 37 1/2in high).
