The official Italian Springbank importer in the 1970's, Consorzio Vinicolo A. Sutti based in Milan, has notoriously used identical import labels on these early 1970's bottlings known as "pear shape" Springbank. This resulted in a misinformation of this Springbank 50 year old which is not 43% volume but instead 37.8% volume (66.3 degrees proof).
We believe this was bottled in the early 1970s.
