Known to collectors as the 'Hour Glass' due to its flared case and almost sensual curves, the Ref. 1593 was first introduced in 1944 and production stopped in 1967. The present example is exceptionally rare because only a few are encased in platinum, especially with round and baguette-cut diamond hour markers on the dial.
