34. A late 18th century German gold and enamelled box
marks rubbed, typical scallop shell mark to flange, possibly by Les Frères Toussaint, Hanau circa 1790
Rectangular with cantered corners, the lid with translucent oxblood enamel, bordered with a simulated split pearls and green enamel, the sides with similar panels separated by pilasters , length 9.3cm, weight gross 121gms.
