Modelled by J.J. Kaendler, holding a hen in her left hand, wearing a white headscarf and black cap, blue and black bodice, green apron and yellow skirt the base applied with leaves and flowers, 21cm high (minor restoration)

This model is mentioned in Kaendler's work records in March 1744: "Eine alte Frau als eine Wirthschafterin Welche eine Henne nach dem Ey greiffet gehörig Zerschnitten und zum abformen zubereitet" [An old woman as a housekeeper reaching for an egg from a hen suitably cut and prepared for moulding].
