La stanza delle meraviglie di casa Colli, 2023, p. 340, cat. 72 The documents of the Doccia manufactory from 1757 state: '10 sottocoppe quadre bianche lisce centinate' [10 smooth white curved square saucers] and '6 sottocoppe quadre con fiori blu' [6 square saucers with blue flowers] (quoted in Biancalana, 2023, p.340); the author suggests the latter refers to the present lot.
