Boucheron, the iconic Haute Joaillerie house based on Place Vendôme, has always stood out for its bold creations, combining precious materials such as rock crystal, enamels, goldsmithing and precious stones. Since its foundation, it has embodied exceptional expertise and a singular vision of luxury. At the end of the 1980s, Boucheron launched its first fragrance, Jaïpur. This captivating fragrance was inspired by an archive of special orders made for its most loyal customers. Boucheron's workshops used all their expertise to design a precious bottle in the shape of a ring of rock crystal and gold, topped with a cap of guilloché enamel and embellished with precious stones. The care taken with every detail is a testament to Boucheron's creativity and jewellery heritage. The bottle was a huge success: customers who bought the perfume wanted to be able to wear a ring of the same design. The ring was later created and the perfume was nicknamed the "ring bottle". A veritable olfactory jewel, Jaïpur is a sensual oriental floral combining fresh nuances of mandarin and orange blossom, notes of white flowers - ylang-ylang, jasmine, mysterious tuberose - and a warm base of oriental vanilla, amber and sandalwood.
