Vue de Constantinople en mouvement pour chasser les vaisseaux anglais, depicting an event in the Anglo-Turkish War of 1807-09 France, published 21st March 1807 hand-coloured engraving, title and three lines of text in French in lower border 31.5 x 39 cm. The scene depicts events of the 22nd February 1807, in the aftermath of a failed British naval operation in the Dardanelles as part of attempts to break the alliance of the Ottoman Empire with France. Another example of this print is in the Musée de la Ville de Paris.
