The title of Compositions trouvées is a pun on the object found and on the word 'found'. It's not quite found, because these are assemblages that I made myself, which are a kind of archaeological still life. They are details of shops or lost corners. As each object has a historical reference, or something of the sort, you can see in these works an aspect of our rather kitsch society, full of contradictions.
