The biggest change was the move from the robust three-link Oyster bracelet to the five-link Jubilee, fitted with an Oysterlock clasp and Easylink extension. The addition of the dressier bracelet quickly led to a new nickname among collectors: the "Batgirl." While some enthusiasts welcomed the Jubilee, citing its historical use on vintage GMTs, others preferred the sportier character of the Oyster. Rolex addressed both camps in 2021 by reintroducing the Oyster bracelet as an option, allowing buyers to choose between the two styles.
