This wire and paper figure was created for a Picasso exhibition at the Palais des Lumières in Evian. Isabelle de Borchgrave depicted Picasso surrounded by the paper costumes of seven women, with moucharrabiehs in the background representing the idea of what Picasso was painting at each period of his life with one of them.
