A brass torchstand (mash'al) India, 18th/ 19th Century of slightly tapering cylindrical form on a splayed foot, with everted rim, fluted to the middle section, engraved to neck and base with lappet motifs, loops to either side of neck, perhaps later ownership inscription to foot 26 cm. high Inscriptions: undeciphered.
