A BLACK-LACQUER FOUR-CASE INRŌ (MEDICINE CASE) Edo period (1615-1868), 19th century Of oval profile decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e and hirame with rustic buildings beneath plum and willow trees by rushing waters, the interior cases and risers gold nashiji, fitted with a wood ojime carved as two masks and a wood manjū netsuke decorated with geese in flight over reeds in gold and silver hiramaki-e and inlays of silver, with a gold signature inside 9,5cm high
