79. A Meissen hexagonal tea canister and cover, circa 1725-30
Of baluster form with moulded and gilt ribs, each panel finely painted with a scene depicting figures in in European landscape settings including by rivers and a waterfront, the cover with a gilt scrollwork motif on the top and burnished gilt band to the side, 10cm high, crossed swords mark in blue enamel, gilt numeral 73. to both (minor wear to gilt ground around neck) (2)
