In this way, she shows the context in which the art is received and how it is staged in the rooms. She is primarily interested in the conditions and procedures for exhibiting, selling and circulating works of art. Her postmodern conceptual approach is linked to simulationism, an American artistic movement that emerged in the 1980s, of which she is a leading figure, alongside Jeff Koons and Barbara Kruger, among others.
