Central Tibet, 16th century
Holding a vajra in the raised right hand and a kapala in the left hand, the face with a serene expression, framed by a pair of disk-shaped earrings, the hair pulled into a high chignon hidden and surmounted by a half vajra, hidden behind an elaborate five-leaf tiara, adorned with incised floral pattern and beaded jewellery richly inset with turquoise.
