A signed 'Butomées' tea table in amaranth, walnut, elm burl, zebrano, Macassar ebony, Indian rosewood, yellow ipe, courbaril, bird's eye elm, thuja burl, wacapou, partially stained ash burl, Honduran mahogany and patinated bronze by Emile Gallé circa 1900.

Historical background:
The model was exhibited at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900, as well as at the Ecole de Nancy exhibition at the Pavillon de Marsan in Paris in 1903.
A copy of this model is in the collections of the Yamazaki Mazak Museum of Art in Japan, inv. no. ANF-663701.
