A beautiful painted saddle dating: 18th Century provenance: Rajasthan, Wooden frame with edges and open-works featuring engraved bone decorations depicting geometric motifs. The entire surface is richly decorated with polychrome floral and geometric motifs. Two-ear swell. Open-works on the sides for the fastening, iron rings on flower-shaped bases for the straps on the rear side. The lower side covered with brown paper. Small defects and missing parts.
