A Big Spiral table, designed by Ron Arad in 1995, manufactured by Ron Arad Associates, London, steel, laser-cut and mirror-polished stainless steel, incised signature: Ron Arad 38 TABLES/ No 7, height approx. 73 cm, width approx. 185 cm, depth approx. 73 cm. (MHA) Table No. 7 from a group of 38 tables of various dimensions and featuring different forms. The table was designed for the 1995 Triennale di Milano. Arad’s installation consisted of 38 different tables, composed to create a huge spiral. Each of the 38 tables has an edition of 38, only a minor part of which has been realised by now (most of them only twice or three times). Lit.: M.
