A composite half armour dating: Second half of the 16th Century provenance: Italy, Closed, interlocking helmet, skull in one piece with medium-high, twisted comb. Raisable visor, en suite, with two eye-slots and sharpened snout-faced, sides decorated with notches, spring-button for ventail fixing, ribbed in the center, pierced with ventilation rosette. Smooth beaver, plume-holder. Riveted front and back plate, interlocking. Gorget composed of three, front and back, pates, the highest one with twisted border. Breast-plate ribbed in the center, neckline and gussets (riveted) with high border, decorated en suite. The second loin-guard and the back one are restored. Pauldrons with complete brassards, left side with tournament buffe, margin with a recessed band and twisted borders. Eight-plate tassets, with borders en suite. Interesting armour with some touch-up, but of a beautiful appearance. height 107 cm.
