Roman, 2nd–3rd century AD.
Gold. Creased and chiseled gold band with draped, winged Cupid.
L 12.5 cm, W 0.8 cm. Total weight 4.5 g.
Gold band broken and cracked.
Provenance:
- Collection of Ernst and Marthe Kofler-Truniger (1903–1990 & 1918–1999), Lucerne before 1964 (inv. no. K726T).
- Swiss private collection, Lucerne, acquired from the above in ca. 1974.
- By inheritance in the same Swiss family collection, Lucerne.
