A DING STYLE MELON-SHAPED EWER 明仿宋 定窑风格瓜形提梁壶 China, Ming dynasty The vessel features a lobed, pear-shaped body rising from a short foot to a gently incurved rim. It is surmounted by a loop handle composed of two twisted strands, emerging from a cluster of three palmettes bound together and attached at the shoulder. A short, curved spout extends from one side, and the entire surface is covered with a smooth white glaze. H.13.3cm
