A fine enamelled kandshar - dating: 19th Century - provenance: Persia, Slightly-curved, double-edged blade, ribbed at the center, probably made of damask. Yellow metal scabbard and hilt, both completely enameled in polychromy with floral motifs, gilded borders. Hilt with small pitting on one side and glass, cabochon stone on the pommel. length 39 cm.
