A fine pala with Islamic inscriptions dating: late 18th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, Wide, curved, single-and false-edged blade, 'T'-shaped back ribbed at the center, with fuller along the back featuring gold-inlaid inscriptions. The first part with two cartouches featuring inscriptions and date '1186' (1772 Gregorian calendar). Cross-shaped, iron hilt with gold decorations, horn grip scales with iron frame decorated en suite. Without scabbard. length 90.5 cm.
