Remains of gilding, the back painted in red. Shakyamuni, Prajnaparamita and Ratnasambhava seated on lavish thrones.
Provenance: Swiss private collection, purchased from Manfred Wicky, Zug in 1998 (with certificate).

Tibet, ca. 14th century. 23 Χ 66 cm.
Wood with remnants of gilding. The centre panel carved with Shakyamuni, Prajnaparamita and Ratnasambhava, each on a magnificent lφwen throne with aureoles, surrounded by Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Mahasiddhas. Multiple borders in flat relief surround the central field. Four stupas at the front.
