A fokos (axe) with flintlock gun and dagger
dating: late 17th Century
provenance: Teschen, Smooth-bore, two-stage, iron, round and octagonal, 10 mm cal. barrel; small, iron, oblique-edged axe. Flintlock; wooden haft, richly inlaid with bone plates with animals, decorated with hops and lists, a human face under the lock; trigger with set-trigger. Wooden grip, decorated en suite in bone, with ends with iron bands. Pulling it out reveals a blade (53 cm) of lozenge section. Axe provided with iron-tipped wooden ramrod. Very scarce, mostly in combination with the blade. length 90 cm.
