A GIACOMO BOSELLI (?) VASE WITH LID, SAVONA, SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY VASE WITH LID, SAVONA, GIACOMO BOSELLI (?) SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY in faience painted in third-firing polychrome, body on high foot, domed lid surmounted by flower-shaped socket. The decoration in full polychrome with broad brushstrokes leaves reserved a few metopes, affected on the body by the depiction of a noble emblem, while on the lid and sides with reserves centred by roses and small bows. The coat-of-arms, which has not been identified, and the ornamentation of great decorative impact lead us to attribute the work to the great period of experimentation of which Giacomo Boselli was the greatest exponent; h. cm 31.5, base cm 16.2x13.5 Comparative literature L.
