A HEXAGONAL VASE, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY In blue and white porcelain, featuring a wide flared mouth, long neck, angled shoulder, and a swollen body that gradually tapers towards the flared foot. The surface is characterised by a glossy white glaze, with vivid cobalt blue decorations. The ornamental design is divided into two sections: on the neck, each side is decorated with a blooming branch; while the central part of the body features auspicious fruit and flower motifs, such as Buddha's hand, pomegranate, and the peach of longevity, representing prosperity, good fortune, and long life. The floral and fruit motifs symbolise abundance and opulence, evoking a sense of majesty. Inside the foot, the edge is wide and smooth, with a six-character mark in zhuanshu script 'Da Qing Qianlong Nianzhi' engraved on the bottom. The ornamental motif is divided into two sections: on the neck, each side is decorated with a flowering branch; while the central part of the body features auspicious fruit and flower motifs, such as the Buddha, the pomegranate and the longevity peach, symbols representing prosperity, good fortune and long life. The floral and fruit motifs depict abundance and opulence, evoking a sense of majesty. On the inside of the foot, the rim is sharp and wide, engraved on the bottom with the six-character zhuanshu mark 'Da Qing Qianlong Nianzhi'. H. cm 58
