A highly important rock crystal dagger hilt decorated with rubies, emeralds and gold dating: 17th Century provenance: India Moghul Thickening toward the top, hat-shaped pommel, featuring a hole for the blade at the center, a deep, vertical crack. The surface decorated with beautiful, gilt inlays, rubies and emeralds depicting birds among floral motifs of high quality. Part of the gilt finishing and several stones, especially the biggest ones, are missing, but it features more than 100 rubies and emeralds.
