The vase is decorated using the "Qianjiang cai" style, which flourished during the late Qing dynasty and the early Republican period. The vase is of the "Hu" form, an ancient Chinese bronze vessel shape characterized by its pear-shaped body, elongated neck, and often featuring ring handles or other decorative elements. This classic form was revived and adapted for porcelain during various periods of Chinese ceramic history.
