A JIZHOU BLACK-GLAZED BOWL 宋 吉州窰黑釉盞 China, Song dynasty The slightly rounded conical bowl flares at the rim and rests on a straight, almost solid foot with a low-cut foot ring. Foot and base show the yellowish-beige biscuit, and the rest of the bowl is covered with a matt dark brown glaze with overall crazing.
