Amida Nyorai in the centre flanked by Kannon and Seishi represents the descent of the Buddha from heaven to take believers to the Western Paradise. Minor restorations. Amida Nyorai stands in front of a nimbus (kτhai) on an elaborately crafted, multi-tiered lotus base, flanked by Kannon and Seishi floating on lotus pedestals.
