A LARGE ANTIQUE ISFAHAN CARPET, 378 X 262CM A highest quality dyes and wool, the workshop has produced this fine carpet, 80 raj, which is well over a million knots per square meter. The drawing is precise and clear, as expected from a piece of this calibre. The scrolling vines and flower heads are projected beautifully on the cream background with an elegant, rich red medallion and indigo-blue spandrels. The multiple borders with the prominent red border bring the whole piece together.  378x262cm
