A LOOSE SELJUK FOLIO IN EARLY NASKH SCRIPT

A finely preserved Qur'anic folio of rectangular form, written in black ink on paper in an elegant early Naskh script, with diacritical marks in red. The meticulously aligned calligraphy is complemented by an intricate marginal medallion in gold, executed with delicate geometric and floral motifs. The folio is adorned with illuminated verse markers and stylised decorative elements.
