A LOOSE SELJUK FOLIO IN EARLY NASKH SCRIPT Ca. 12th century AD . A finely preserved Qur'anic folio of rectangular form, written in black ink on paper in an elegant early Naskh script, with diacritical marks in red. The meticulously aligned calligraphy is complemented by an intricate marginal medallion in gold with geometric and floral motifs.
