A magnificent flintlock tufenk dating: 18th Century provenance: Turkey, Rifled, octagonal, 16.5 mm cal barrel, the edges with fine gold and silver inlaid decorations; a small decoration with an Arabic inscription at the center, carved iron sight, silver front sight; tang with Arabic inscription among gold and silver floral motifs. Iron morlach lock with gold and silver floral and geometric decorations. Wooden full stock, richly decorated with brass and bone mounts and inlays partially niello-worked and painted (missing parts). A small compartment with lid decorated en suite under the butt. Iron button-shaped trigger with remains of silver decoration. Four barrel-bracket mounts made of pierced silver. Iron ramrod. length 102.5 cm.
