A PAIR OF “BARETTA” EARRINGS WITH GLASS CABOCHONS - former Kofler-Truniger collection
Roman, ca. 3rd century AD.
Gold sheet (gold ca. 76–85%) hammered into the shape of stylized dolphins. A red glass bead set in a halo. Small pendant rods with red and green glass beads.
L 2.5 cm, H 4 cm. Total weight ca. 6.9 g.
Gold partly slightly wavy. Some small losses to the pendant.
