A rare yatagan of Russian production dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Russia, Curved, single-edged, enlarged blade, with a thin fuller through all the length next to the back. Iron grip, engraved with floral motifs in the initial part and ears. Traces of gilding on the ground. Wooden, fabric-covered scabbard (later), with iron chape and cap, engraved with flowers en suite and frames, with traces of gilding as well. An iron lug mounted on a relieved band. Quality, type of work and decorations make us think of Zlatoust manufacture. length 69,4 cm.
