A red-overlay "snowstorm" glass snuff bottle
China, Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912)
Probably imperial, palace workshops, Beijing, 1740-1840.
The bottle is carved through the deep-red overlay to the translucent with with a five-clawed dragons on one side and a chi-dragon and a bat on the other.
