The sturdy ricasso with two lateral guards. A cross mark struck on both sides, presumably that of the Stantler family, swordsmiths of Munich. Stepped grip with black leather cover, this cracked due to age. The double tapered pommel with six grooves, incised ornamentation and a spherical riveted button. Length 181.5 cm. Condition: II +
