In the work “Il concetto di libertà” [The Concept of Freedom] (1959), the blood stain at the top drips dramatically onto the paste material on which Perilli scratches his signs. Informal monochrome surfaces that soon transform those free, automatic, fast signs scratched into the material, into real narratives, those of his famous "comic strips".
