In chased bronze (one clamp repaired). Mounted on a wooden base carved with a stack of stones and the date "MDCCCXIV".
With modern plaque "Eagle of an infantry flag 1814. A Mr RAFFET fils, 1 rue de Fleurus" recalling an old pen-and-ink label on the back (partly gone).
