Bears an inscription on the back "Marie, Noel, Victoire, Tillien de Janrade, born 25 December 1735, died 4 March 1831", signed "Aimée Perlet". Circled with chased and gilded brass. Inlaid frame. H. 13.5 - L 11 cm B.E. Early 19th century Biography : Aimée PERLET (1798 - 1854). Pioneer of miniature painting on porcelain, student of Marie-Victoire JAQUOTOT. She was recruited by Alexandre Brongniart for the Manufacture de Sèvres in 1825.
