Beautiful set of six figurative weights in the form of birds (one "Sankofa" weight in the form of a bird beaking its tail and resting on a two-step pyramid 3.5 cm / two "Sankofa" birds without heads on a common base 4.4 cm and four other bird representations (2.7 cm- 3.5 cm- 4.5 cm and 7 cm). Provenance: François Bertrand Collection, Paris. Then by descent. Would have been acquired from the Maurice Ratton gallery (family tradition).
