Study of rabbits Gouache on silk, signed, dated and located "Paris 1931" lower left H. 32 cm - W. 53.5 cm (view) HVS Akimassa Nakanishi was the director of the magazine Franco-Nippone and one of the best-known members of the Japanese expatriate community in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. The magazine ran from 1926 to 1930, with Kuni Matsuo (1899-1975) as editor-in-chief and Tsugouharu Foujita (1886-1968) as artistic director.
