Biscontini Ugolini, I vasi da farmacia nella collezione Bayer, Pisa 1997, card 26, pp. 96-97, with a date to the first half of the 16th century). Reference is also made to Biscontini Ugolini for the use of this decoration in Deruta, with floral whorls, and for an examination of examples using it.
