About Céline, he receives letters from young people saying "that Bagatelles should be redone, but seriously. That he is far too nice and that what needs to be written is serious". He also talks about his collaboration with Rivarol... 21-26 April 1954. On the subject of Rebatet's Epis mûrs: "my article will be shorter than that of Poulaga [Robert Poulet]. But I think he'll stick his neck out for you because your book is admirable [...] At the liberation, the fags asked me my opinion on Céline, and I said I didn't agree on many points. Especially the exclamation marks"... - "Since you're talking about Céline, I'd like to point out that he wants above all to be a doctor, he welcomes everyone, doesn't charge anything (or 600F if you insist) but doesn't like it at all when people talk to him about literature or politics.
